About The Position

RS&H is seeking an experienced Resident Project Representative (RPR) to support aviation construction projects throughout Florida's Gulf Coast and North Florida region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex aviation infrastructure projects that enhance the passenger experience and support airport operations at airports across the region. As a member of our Construction Management team, you will serve as RS&H's on-site representative, providing field observation and inspection services throughout the construction lifecycle. Working in dynamic airport environments, you will help ensure projects are built safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements, plans, and specifications. Preferred Location: Candidates should be based in the Tampa Bay region or along Florida's Gulf Coast, providing convenient access to aviation projects throughout the region. Travel to project sites will be required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant construction inspection or field representative experience, or NICET Level III certification.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate a vehicle on highways and construction sites.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for fieldwork with the ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform construction observation and inspection activities on active aviation and infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor ongoing construction work to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements.
  • Observe workmanship, materials, and installation methods to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Document daily construction activities, inspection findings, project progress, and site conditions.
  • Record quantities of materials received, installed, and utilized throughout construction.
  • Review and compare project progress against established schedules and reports.
  • Assist with calculating and documenting monthly estimates of completed work.
  • Identify and document field conditions or construction activities that vary from approved plans and specifications.
  • Communicate observations, issues, and recommendations to project teams and senior construction management personnel.
  • Analyze inspection findings and support the resolution of construction deficiencies through corrective action recommendations.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with contractors, clients, airport stakeholders, and project team members.
