Your Role: Provides administrative leadership for patients admitted in specific hospital areas in accordance with individual resident rotations. Performs clinical staff pharmacist duties. Accountable for American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited Postgraduate Year 2 (PGY2) Pharmacy Residencies goals and objectives. Works collaborative with TMH Pharmacy Services senior leadership. Leads process improvement projects. Provides patient care in a collaborative practice clinic. Chairs a Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) subcommittee. Manages human resources (HR) and financial resources to develop advanced leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited pharmacy school.
  • Completed American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency.
  • Licensed as a pharmacist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulations of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 465 (Pharmacy), Sections 007 through 013, within ninety (90) days post-hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within ninety (90) days post-hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate awarded by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA)
