About The Position

The Resident Guest Teacher position is a full-time, one-year contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. The Resident Guest Teacher will report to the school site each school day and cover for any absences not filled by a district guest teacher. If all absences are covered, the resident guest teacher will support the school site as needed with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts Degree
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or Substitute Certificate
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Maintains valid certifications and fingerprint card.

Maintains a safe, orderly environment for students, conducive to learning.
Instructs pupils in citizenship and basic subject matter specified by District policy.
Anticipates and effectively addresses unforeseen crises associated with working with large groups of children.
Is reliable and punctual.
Displays professionalism through positive attitude and professional dress.
Complies with state law and district policies and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Supervises classroom employees, students and volunteers.
