About The Position
The Resident Director (RD) is a part-time, live-in member of the Office of Residence Life staff, responsible for assisting in the administration of a residential community(ies). The RD is also responsible for assisting with the development of programs and services that support the mission of the Office of Residence Life. In all activity, the RD recognizes that support of the departmental mission and service to students are a top priority.
Requirements
- Must be a current student employee or have previously worked in a student position to apply from Workday.

- Required documents for I-9 include either a valid US Passport, certificate of US citizenship, alien registration card with photograph OR two of the following documents: a state driver's license, validated student ID card, original social security card, birth certificate.
Responsibilities
- Supervision and leadership of Resident Assistants.
- Present training and program sessions for residents and staff.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings with ORL staff.
- Assist with selection, training, supervision and evaluation of staff members.
- Conduct weekly building/area walk-through's.
- Other supervision, programming and administrative duties as assigned.
