About The Position

The Resident Coordinator position rewards strong people skills, sales experience, high energy, a positive attitude, and excellent performance with excellent earning potential and outstanding advancement opportunities. The incumbent's primary goal is to achieve 100% occupancy by retaining existing residents, leasing current availability, and pre-leasing future availability.

Requirements

1-2 years of customer service and sales experience.
Strong communication skills.
High-energy and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Enjoys and takes pride in providing excellent service.
Great with people — warm, friendly, and helpful in person and on the phone.
Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Available evenings and weekends.
Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.

Responsibilities

Act as an ambassador for customer service, consistently exceeding expectations to ensure Cardinal customers are satisfied.
Utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing, which includes greeting prospective clients warmly, answering leasing calls, determining needs, presenting the community and homes, using feature/benefit selling, closing sales, following up, and using specific sales phrases.
Earn and maintain a Cardinal Way of Leasing certification by using available resources and passing evaluations.
Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in audits.
Ensure the cleanliness of the tour path for a positive first impression.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors.
Participate in and assist with planning the community’s Monthly Marketing Plan (MMP).
Assist with various community projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
