About The Position

The Resident Coordinator position rewards strong people skills, sales experience, high energy, a positive attitude, and excellent performance with excellent earning potential and outstanding advancement opportunities. The incumbent's primary goal is to achieve 100% occupancy by retaining existing residents, leasing current availability, and pre-leasing future availability.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High-energy and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys and takes pride in providing excellent service.
  • Great with people — warm, friendly, and helpful in person and on the phone.
  • Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Available evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for customer service, consistently exceeding expectations to ensure Cardinal customers are satisfied.
  • Utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing, which includes greeting prospective clients warmly, answering leasing calls, determining needs, presenting the community and homes, using feature/benefit selling, closing sales, following up, and using specific sales phrases.
  • Earn and maintain a Cardinal Way of Leasing certification by using available resources and passing evaluations.
  • Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in audits.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the tour path for a positive first impression.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors.
  • Participate in and assist with planning the community’s Monthly Marketing Plan (MMP).
  • Assist with various community projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
  • Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
