Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Ability to produce a negative drug test required
Responsibilities
- Assist professional nursing staff in providing care to Assisted Living residents
- Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, providing fresh water, maintaining cleanliness, changing linens, weighing residents, preparing for meals, and distributing nourishments
- Ensure Resident Rights are upheld and report any suspected abuse or neglect
- Serve as a stepping stone toward obtaining healthcare licensure (CNA, LPN, RN, etc.)
- Apply basic sanitation knowledge
