About The Position

At The Reserve at Mills Farm, caregiving involves providing daily support while helping residents feel comfortable, supported, and at home. The Resident Care Aide provides hands-on assistance with daily activities and builds meaningful relationships with residents. This is a full-time position with shifts described as second and third shift every other weekend. Team members can access earned wages through the Tapcheck mobile app.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED accepted and may be required by state regulations.
Must have an 80-hour personal care training certificate.
Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents, and ability to work in a team environment.
Dedication and passion for serving seniors, with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in residents’ best interests.
Written and verbal communication skills and an appropriate level of understanding.
Organizational and time management skills.
Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care.
Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities.
Assist residents in the dining room, including serving meals and clearing tables.
Respond to the resident emergency call system.
Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator or their designee.
Communicate politely and professionally with residents and family members.
Maintain resident care documentation in accordance with state regulations and Navion Senior Solutions policies and procedures.
Transport residents when required.
