Resident Camp Staff Mataguay - 2027
About The Position
Resident Camp Staff positions at Mataguay offer seasonal opportunities to serve Scouting. Competition for employment is keen, the jobs are demanding, and the experience is described as exhilarating. Length of employment varies by job assignment; some summer staff begin as early as mid-June and continue through early August. Applicants must be registered members of the Boy Scouts of America or agree to become registered before employment begins. Employees will be registered in the San Diego-Imperial Council as Camp Staff and must complete training courses including Youth Protection, Unlawful Harassment, and Weather Hazards. They must also hold or obtain current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications that remain current throughout the employment agreement. Salary depends on position responsibility and the individual's experience, and is listed as $427–$447 weekly plus room and board. Any offer is contingent on a satisfactory criminal background check, verification of required certifications and training, and meeting all other employment requirements. Internships are available upon request.
