About The Position

Briarfield Health Care Centers is seeking Resident Assistants to work at its assisted living locations across Mahoning and Columbiana Counties. The Residential Assistant (RA) responds to residents’ signals and helps residents with activities of daily living, laundry, and light housekeeping. The role also helps maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant physical environment and includes other related activities as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current First Aid Certification, or obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
• Complete pre-employment physical, background check, and Mantoux (TB) test.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine residents’ needs.
• Assist residents with specific needs involving activities of daily living.
• Assist with residents’ laundry when needed.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain the physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.
