RESIDENT ASSISTANT (CNA required)
About The Position
Kimball Farms Lifecare Community, an affiliate of Integritus Healthcare, offers a full spectrum of housing options on its campus, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care assisted living. Skilled nursing care for short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care is also available. The Resident Assistant (RA) will assist elderly people who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight. The RA's role is to assist residents with activities of daily living that they are unable to perform without help, always fostering residents’ independence and freedom of choice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a long-term care/assisted living community.
- Previous experience working with dementia residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist elderly people who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight.
