About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to assisted living residents. The role includes helping residents with activities of daily living, transporting them within the community, responding to requests and emergencies, and following resident care plans. This is a part-time position scheduled from 2pm to 10pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
