About The Position
Home Again is hiring a Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate care, assisting residents with daily activities and mobility, responding to call lights, and supporting meaningful engagement. The posting offers part-time and full-time hours for the NOC shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Requirements
- Genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
- Positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment, in accordance with state regulations and company policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Help residents with meals and dining, and provide mobility support, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Offer friendly reminders about meals and activities.
- Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
- Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
- Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
