About The Position

Home Again is hiring a Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate support with personal care, meals, mobility, daily activities, and resident engagement while contributing to the smooth operation of the community. The position is offered for the NOC shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; part-time and full-time hours are available. Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Have a caring heart and a genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Have strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment, in accordance with state regulations and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Help with meals and dining, and provide mobility support, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
• Offer friendly reminders about meals and activities.
• Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
• Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
• Support the team with other tasks that help keep the community running smoothly.
