Resident Assistant - Full Time NOC
About The Position
Home Again is seeking a compassionate, dependable Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing respectful care to older adults and people with physical challenges, assisting with daily activities and mobility, and helping residents participate in meaningful activities. Resident Assistants are also part of a supportive team working to make the community feel like home. Full-time NOC hours are listed as 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.; part-time hours are also available. Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Have a caring attitude and a genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
- Maintain a positive attitude and stay calm under pressure.
- Have strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Help with meals and dining, and provide mobility support, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Offer reminders for meals and activities.
- Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
- Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
- Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
