Resident Assistant-Roseville-Afternoon Shift
About The Position
As a Resident Assistant (RA) at American House, you will support seniors, enrich their lives, and help them live with dignity, comfort, and independence. You will assist with residents’ daily care needs and community activities while helping create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment. The role involves building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members and providing individualized, person-centered care. This is a part-time afternoon-shift role in an assisted living and senior care community. Previous caregiving, senior living, or healthcare experience is required. The position may involve lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 25–50 lbs as needed for resident care.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to leadership.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities, programs, and social events.
- Follow individualized care plans to provide high-quality, person-centered care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas.
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Support new resident orientation and help residents feel welcome in the community.
