About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in an assisted living community. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, transports them within the community, responds to emergency calls and requests, follows resident care plans, and obtains vital signs. This is a full-time morning position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
