About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides support to residents in an assisted living community. The role assists with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and helps residents maintain their personal environments. It also involves transporting residents within the community, responding promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards, and following resident care plans while obtaining vital signs. The schedule is full-time, day shift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
