About The Position
Diamond Willow Assisted Living & Memory Care is hiring a Resident Assistant in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The role provides person-centered assistance to residents in an assisted living and memory care setting, supporting their dignity, comfort, and well-being in a home-like environment. The position is part-time, with flexible shift and block scheduling options. A listed day shift is 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with rotating weekends. Requirements
- Must pass a DHS background study.
- Must be able to perform the listed care tasks while providing a supportive and dignified environment for older adults.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old, except that applicants under 18 may be considered if they have a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with toileting and bathing.
- Assist residents with dressing and grooming.
- Provide feeding assistance.
- Manage dementia-related behaviors.
- Assist residents with transfers and mobility, including use of mechanical lifts.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Provide end-of-life care.
- Prepare meals.
- Support activities.
- Perform daily housekeeping and laundry.
