About The Position
A resident assistant (RA) in senior living provides support and assistance to residents with their daily living activities and promotes a safe and engaging environment. They help with tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, and using the toilet, and also offer emotional support and companionship. RAs play a vital role in ensuring residents' well-being and independence. Lutheran Home & Health Services, an Illuminus Community, has been a part of the local community caring for the families of Fond du Lac and the surrounding area since 1936. Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)
- CBRF training (preferred, not required)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Covid Vaccine (preferred)
- Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
- Ability to relate well to all individuals.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to change.
Nice To Haves
- Community-based residential facilities (CBRF) training preferred, but can be provided!
