Resident Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant | Assisted Living | Part-Time Evenings
About The Position
Provides cognitive support and assists tenants with home management tasks, activities of daily living, mobility, medication administration, and other delegated nursing functions, as assigned and according to the plan of care. Under the direction and supervision of the RN, assists tenants in meeting or maintaining their highest practicable physical and mental functioning. The position is primarily at Northwinds Assisted Living, with potential cross-training at a secondary congregate living setting. This is a part-time evening position, scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., for 32 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Most schedules include rotating weekends and holidays. Evening and night shift differentials are available. Compensation depends on role and experience: Registered Certified Nursing Assistants earn $20.81–$28.68 per hour, and Resident Assistants earn $17.84–$24.60 per hour. Evening shifts receive an additional $1.50 per hour. Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a team-player mentality.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
- Be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Nursing Assistant certification by the State of Minnesota is preferred but not required.
