Resident Assistant, Medication Aide, Long Term Care (LTC)
About The Position
Sanford Health is seeking a Resident Assistant, Medication Aide, Long Term Care to provide individualized, person-centered care in participants’ homes. Care is delivered in accordance with established care plans, physician orders, medication protocols, clinical directives, and location standards and procedures. The role provides medication administration, healthcare services, assistance with activities of daily living, and other assigned duties in a caring, safe, and efficient manner. Caregivers support participants’ nutritional needs and mobility, monitor health and safety, provide companionship and meaningful social engagement, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote health, dignity, independence, and quality of life. The position is scheduled for 36.75 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.
Requirements
- Complete and maintain the assigned medication administration training program and competencies according to state guidelines.
- Meet the minimum state age requirement if working at a facility that uses a lift to move residents.
