ATS is seeking a Resident Inspector API 653 preferable with additional API certs to support our ATS Richmond, VA office for permanent employment for this Resident Inspector position in Franklin, VA. Looking for LOCAL Candidates and those qualified and able to relocate to Franklin, VA as RELO Assistance is available. NO PER DIEM.

Requirements

  • Current API Certification in API 653.
  • Able to relocate to Franklin, VA for this Resident Inspector position.
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Performs field inspections of tanks, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance.
  • Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
  • Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.
  • Process improvement experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment.

  • Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
  • Plant engineering or steel fabrication experience.
  • Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results.
