Resident Aide-Days 7am-3pm
About The Position
The Resident Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans and facility policies and procedures, and at the direction of supervisor(s). The position is in Effingham, Illinois, and is scheduled for the day shift, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The role includes providing compassionate routine daily nursing care and service, helping residents with personal care, and assisting with meals and recording food and fluid intake. Requirements
- Possess at least a 10th-grade education; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Demonstrate written and verbal communication competencies.
- Have a background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
- Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
- Attend scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath, and other care functions as necessary.
- Prepare residents for meals and serve food.
- Record residents’ food and fluid intake.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
