About The Position

The Residency Coordinator provides daily support for all undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education programs within a residency program(s) service line(s). This role involves providing guidance and direction for all residents and fellows, as well as Jefferson Medical College students within the residency program. The coordinator also assists the Residency Program Directors in the planning and development of policies and procedures related to the educational programs and ensures compliance with all external review agencies.

Requirements

Four years of healthcare administration experience, including a minimum of 2 years in graduate medical education
Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Complete familiarity with computers and database management
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to exercise good judgement with respect to the generally sensitive nature of material related to residents and students
