RESERVATIONS AGENT (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full time RESERVATIONS AGENT position. This role involves assigning guests with making reservations for the hotel, resolving guest challenges throughout their reservation process, and promoting hotel services, amenities, and upselling products to the guests. Requirements
- Previous hotel reservations and customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Completes the reservation process by inputting and retrieving information from the guest and inputting into the computer system confirming pertinent information.
- Ensures room type and preferences are correctly accounted for within guest reservation.
- Properly accounts for services provided by the hotel.
- Assists guests with processing payments or charges. Accepts and records vouchers, credit, traveler's checks, and other forms of payment.
- Provides guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities.
- Receives special requests from guests, and responds appropriately or forwards requests to appropriate team members for decisions and actions.
- Promptly answers the telephone and email inquiries.
- Fields and resolves guest complaints or escalate for resolution to appropriate department.
- Maintains adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk.
- Performs any special assignment deemed by the GM, Guest Services manager, or Manager on Duty.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
