About The Position

The Researcher will provide advanced technical expertise and independent laboratory support for translational pancreatic cancer research conducted by Dr. Sunil Hingorani in the Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence. The work contributes to studies using genetically engineered mouse models (GEMMs), tumor-derived cell culture systems, tissue-based analyses, and molecular biology approaches to investigate pancreatic cancer initiation, progression, and therapeutic response. The position requires substantial hands-on laboratory experience, strong scientific judgment, and the ability to independently execute complex experimental protocols while contributing to the overall scientific direction of ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of required experience.
  • Substantial hands-on laboratory experience.
  • Strong scientific judgment.
  • Ability to independently execute complex experimental protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform and coordinate experiments involving genetically engineered mouse models of pancreatic cancer, including colony management, breeding, genotyping, tumor monitoring, tissue collection, blood collection, and necropsy.
