About The Position

This is a temporary (one year), Time-Limited, full-time (40 hours per M-F work week) position with the UF/IFAS Program for Resource Efficient Communities (PREC). The role involves conducting statistical analyses, performing data cleaning and manipulation, assisting with the interpretation of quantitative findings, and preparing written descriptions of analytical methods for manuscripts and technical reports. The technician will also assist with ongoing residential water conservation research projects and collaborate with faculty and research staff. Literature reviews related to ongoing research will also be conducted.

Requirements

  • Experience with ANOVA, linear regression, and basic data manipulation
  • Familiarity with data transformations and related analytical techniques
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of residential water use and water conservation research
  • Prior experience contributing to peer-reviewed journal articles or academic publications
  • Experience working in a research or academic setting
