About The Position

This is a temporary (one year), Time-Limited, full-time (40 hours per M-F work week) position with PREC. The role involves assisting with ongoing residential water conservation research projects, collaborating with faculty and research staff, and conducting literature reviews. The technician will perform statistical analyses, data cleaning and manipulation, and assist with the interpretation of quantitative findings. They will also be responsible for preparing written descriptions of analytical methods for manuscripts and technical reports.

Requirements

  • Experience with ANOVA, linear regression, and basic data manipulation
  • Familiarity with data transformations and related analytical techniques
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of residential water use and water conservation research
  • Prior experience contributing to peer-reviewed journal articles or academic publications
  • Experience working in a research or academic setting
