About The Position

This position assists in research within The Reef Lab at Tulane University. A main focus of the position is managing databases of coral-core and tree-ring images and coordinating workshops related to the CoralCT and TreeTracer software applications. Additionally, the lab does extensive work with drone-based imagery in Louisiana and on U.S. coral reefs. Potential drone-related work could include preparing permit applications, planning unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flights, and organizing travel. Applicants do not necessarily need to be well-aligned with both the database management and drone aspects of the position, but rather ability and willingness to learn are crucial.
