About The Position
Position functions to provide research data from routine experiments performed in the laboratory.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently in the completion of assigned tasks.
- B.S. Degree
- One year of experience
Nice To Haves
- MS Degree preferred.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Experience in tissue culture, animal studies, molecular signaling and/or transgenic mouse.
- Highly proficient in data analysis and writing manuscripts for publication.
Responsibilities
- Provide research data from routine experiments performed in the laboratory.
- Conduct quantifiable, meaningful research.
- Interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds at all levels internal and external to the organization.
- Work collaboratively as a positive, contributing member of a team.
- Complete and pass successfully the required occupational health screening referenced in the University’s Animal Handler Health Surveillance Program on an annual basis (if applicable).
- Complete and pass a background check and an occupational health screening as a condition of employment (if applicable).
- Undergo a drug screening if required (if applicable).
