Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Need to be able to work around a verity of chemicals using proper PPE.
  • Need to be able to pass respirator testing.
  • Able to follow instructions written and verbal.
  • Strong word and excel skills.
  • Be able to work in small groups of people efficiently.
  • Able to lift to 50 pounds.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, Refugee, or Temporary Resident granted amnesty.

Nice To Haves

  • A strong knowledge base of Word and Excel on computer are desired.
  • A strong mechanical background is desired.
  • Being able to get a government clearance is preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong background in manufacturing or Research and Development preferred.
  • Auto trade industry experience preferred.
  • Able to get a Government Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports engineering and Custom Colors Solutions activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype materials.
  • Track, collect and report data to internal teams and Engineering.
  • Learn measurement devices or specialized test equipment.
  • Follow work instructions and direction from Engineering and Sales and Marketing.
  • Juggle multiple jobs at one time and follow priority list provided by supervisor.
  • Work around a variety of chemicals using proper PPE.
  • Pass respirator fit test and breathing test.
  • Wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
  • Work in small groups of people efficiently.
  • Lift to 50 pounds.
