Join the Cleveland Clinic Florida Research and Innovation Center (FRIC) to gain hands-on research experience with the latest, evidence-based and advanced technologies. Here, you will utilize your interest in transforming the healthcare field by investigating lymphomas, infectious diseases, insect-transmitted viruses and more. Come build a rewarding career at one of the top ranked hospital organizations in the world. The Nicosia Lab is dedicated to advancing transplant research by studying how the immune system can be selectively regulated to protect transplanted organs without broadly suppressing immunity. By investigating natural inhibitory immune pathways that act as "brakes" on immune responses, the lab aims to develop innovative strategies to prevent organ rejection while reducing the long-term risks of infection and cancer for transplant recipients. As a Research Technician on our team, you will perform laboratory techniques and procedures required for assigned experimental studies, assist with establishing and scheduling analyses, conduct tests using a range of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, and assemble experimental results for review by research staff.
