The Yerevanian Laboratory in the Center for Genomic Medicine (CGM) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic candidate to join our research group. Our research group studies the genetic underpinnings of aging and aging-related diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer through analysis of vertebrate and invertebrate genetics, physiology, and metabolism. This role will be predominantly involved in helping to support and conduct critical lab experiments on the biology of aging, obesity, and diabetes. We utilize C. elegans as an invertebrate model organism, and much of the experimentation performed in the lab is through functional genomics and screening in C. elegans. Experimentation will also be performed in human and mouse cell culture models, with the potential for murine modeling if interest is present.
