The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (IDDRC) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine seeks applicants for a Research Technician B to join the Animal Phenotyping (AP) Core. The AP Core is a centralized, shared resource facility that supports interdisciplinary neuroscience research through rigorous and reproducible assessment of rodent behavior. The core provides dedicated testing space, state-of-the-art equipment, and expert support in behavioral phenotyping, experimental design, data acquisition and analysis. In addition to supporting ongoing projects, the core is actively expanding its capabilities in novel behavioral assay development, computer vision–based behavioral monitoring and computational analysis, offering opportunities to contribute to innovative methodological development. This is a half-time (50% effort) position (around 20 hours per week), with effort primarily aligned with IDDRC-supported activities. This is a one-year term position, with the possibility of renewal based on available funding and satisfactory performance. The work location for this position is in-person at the Kennedy Building.
