About The Position

This position involves assisting with research, specifically in screening studies for evidence reviews. The role requires the ability to read and understand scientific literature, identify study characteristics, and screen studies based on inclusion/exclusion criteria. The workload is up to 20 hours per week and will fluctuate.

Requirements

  • Experience with nutrition research or a related field (e.g., public health, epidemiology)
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation
  • Computer access

  • Graduate student currently enrolled in a nutrition graduate program or a graduate program in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and understand scientific literature, including being able to identify study characteristics such as populations, interventions/exposures, comparators, and outcomes
  • Knowledge of different types of study designs and ability to identify study designs
  • Screen studies for evidence reviews by comparing literature to a set of inclusion/exclusion criteria
