The Research Specialist at the Middle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center at Springhill is responsible for assisting in technical, research, and field-related duties for the center’s Beef Unit research programs. This role involves overseeing and directing beef cattle forage production, pasture management, and infrastructure development and maintenance. The specialist will also assist in forage and beef cattle unit research, perform routine tasks, and conduct procedures to maintain efficient operations for the center's programs and infrastructure. Additionally, the position is responsible for the proper implementation, accurate analysis, and effective communication of all beef cattle research projects, and will serve as a communication link between the lead primary investigator and the center director.
