The Research Specialist A will work in the area of neurotrauma research and epilepsy using small and large animal models in a laboratory focused on electrophysiology, behavior, and histopathology. Studies include neurosurgical procedures (brain) in large and small animal models, electrophysiological chronic recordings, training and behavioral assessment of animal behavior, and tissue processing/histology. Other tasks will include maintenance of logs and lab reports, surgery preparation, data analysis, retrieval of recent literature, ordering and general lab maintenance.
