About The Position

Provides neurosurgery services on a full-time basis based at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital, with a secondary role at Pennsylvania Hospital. Provides inpatient neurosurgery services and fulfills all medico-administrative duties associated with membership on each hospital medical staff of which clinician is a member. Preferred applicants are expected to develop and maintain a robust elective clinical neurosurgery practice focused on spine at Chester County Hospital and cover general neurosurgery and spine call at CCH. May participate in a minimum of 50 hours per year of active and high-quality teaching or equivalent service. Performs prompt, courteous and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards for such services and with the standards established from time to time. Maintains license to practice medicine without restrictions or limitations in Pennsylvania or location of affiliates, if applicable.

Requirements

  • M.D.
  • License to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania
  • DEA Licensure
  • Board Eligible/Board Ceritified
  • 0-1 year of work experience in the field of Neurosurgery
