About The Position

The Mathew Lab investigates how systemic cytokine signaling and host inflammation shape CD8 T-cell differentiation, antitumor immunity, and responses to cancer immunotherapy. By integrating human clinical studies with mechanistic mouse models, the lab uses high-dimensional flow cytometry, single-cell transcriptomics, multiplex proteomics, and in vivo CRISPR screening to identify cytokine programs that promote durable immune priming or drive terminal T-cell dysfunction.
