About The Position

The Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University seeks applications for temporary or special Research Scientist/Scholar I, II, III or Senior positions in the areas of analytical, biological, chemistry education, inorganic, materials, organic, or physical chemistry. Research Scientists/Scholars work under the direction of individual faculty members and contribute to ongoing research activities specific to each lab. Duties, funding source, appointment length, and work modality (in-person, hybrid, or remote) vary by faculty lab. Requirements

  • Completed all the requirements for a Ph.D. degree in an appropriate discipline, before beginning this assignment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U. S. A. by the proposed start date, and for the full dates of the appointment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior research experience in a relevant physical science discipline.
  • Experience with laboratory or computational research methods

Responsibilities

  • Conducting laboratory or computational research activities.
