About The Position
The Research Scientist 2 works in the Clinical Trials Office at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center (UNMCCC), working directly with physicians to conduct oncology clinical trials. The position assists with screening, consenting, and managing patients participating in clinical trials in accordance with regulatory guidelines. The role is based at the Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is a regular, full-time, benefits-eligible staff position. Successful candidates must complete a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check; additional health screenings may be required depending on the research conducted.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; completed degrees above the minimum education requirement may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Submit to a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check; additional health screenings may be required depending on the research conducted.
- Finalists should be prepared to provide official educational transcripts if selected for hire.
- Applicants must provide names of 3 professional references.
