Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).
  • Visiting scholar engaging in a temporary research at Duke.

Responsibilities

  • Work on Aim 1 of an R01-funded project to understand regulatory mechanisms governing Th17 cell plasticity.
  • Utilize genetic, genomics, and mouse model approaches to investigate the role and mechanism of action of the cis regulatory element, CNS+18, which controls IFNg expression in Th17 cells.
  • Perform mouse colony maintenance.
  • Conduct intestinal infection models in mice.
  • Perform genomics assays such as CUT&RUN and HiC/4C.
  • Conduct Flow cytometry and Flow FISH.
  • Prepare and submit manuscripts.
  • Train junior graduate students.
