Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).
  • Visiting scholar engaging in temporary research at Duke.

Responsibilities

  • Study neuro-glia interactions in chronic pain using electrophysiological, behavioral, histochemical, and genetic approaches and animal models.
  • Participate in collaborative projects with other Duke and UNC investigators.
  • Participate in DoD and NIH projects on analgesic mechanisms.
  • Publish papers in excellent journals.
