About The Position

Duke University School of Medicine is hiring a temporary one-month position as a Research Scholar in Biochemistry. The role involves investigating the inhibition of the MESH1 enzyme and genetic manipulation of E. Coli and Pseudomonas strains for investigations of novel antibiotics. Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated expertise on MESH1 biochemistry, enzymology, and bacterial genetics.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct experiments with MESH1 enzyme
  • Genetic manipulation of E. Coli and Psuedomonas
  • Contribute to lab upkeep and assist other lab members with gene expression analyses.
