About The Position

The Naturalistic Cognitive Computational Neuroscience (NCCN) lab in the Department of Psychology is seeking a full-time Research Program Coordinator to join the lab. We use naturalistic fMRI and computational modeling to study neural mechanisms of human memory and attention. This is a one year fixed-term position. The research coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of a research program and managing administrative duties of the laboratory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (or expected) in psychology, neuroscience, or related fields
  • At least 3 years of experience coordinating or administering a program.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

Responsibilities

  • Run fMRI and behavioral experiments and assist lab studies.
  • Recruit and interact with participants and organize participant registry
  • Manage applications for the Institutional Review Board
  • Design experiments, collect data, and preprocess and analyze data
  • Lab management.
  • Help onboard new lab members
  • Maintain lab documentation
  • Manage lab space and common areas
  • Assist with reimbursement process and work with department administrators
  • Organize lab funds and purchase supplies based on lab members’ needs
  • Assist with writing scientific research articles and grant submissions
  • Organize lab meetings and events
