About The Position

The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is seeking applicants for a research professor (assistant, associate, full). As a leader in innovative behavioral and psychological science, the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology includes 26 research faculty who are on the cutting edge of research spanning basic to dissemination science, with current grant funding ranked third highest within CCHMC. Our Division sits within the newly launched Mental and Behavioral Health Institute committed to researching and treating mental, behavioral, and developmental health disorders in children and adolescents. To complement and expand our research, we seek applicants whose research focuses on: 1) implementation science, 2) social media/human-technology interaction, 3) artificial intelligence, and/or 4) psychopathology (internalizing, externalizing, substance use).

Requirements

Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
Demonstrated research experience and productivity.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: implementation science, social media/human-technology interaction, artificial intelligence, or psychopathology (internalizing, externalizing, substance use).

Nice To Haves

Experience in grant writing and securing funding.
Experience in disseminating research findings.

Responsibilities

Conduct research in areas such as implementation science, social media/human-technology interaction, artificial intelligence, and/or psychopathology (internalizing, externalizing, substance use).
Contribute to the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology's research initiatives.
Collaborate with other faculty within the Division and the Mental and Behavioral Health Institute.
Advance scientific discovery and treatment of mental, behavioral, and developmental health disorders in children and adolescents.
