About The Position

This full-time position in the Urology department at Wake Forest University Health Sciences focuses on coordinating and facilitating the day-to-day operations of research projects. The role involves managing research subjects through recruitment, informed consent, protocol assessments, and data collection. It also includes initiating and maintaining relations for study protocols, interviewing and training new research staff, and managing sponsored projects. The Research Manager will review, maintain, and archive study administrative and data management files, assist in monitoring compliance and communication, and plan for future trends in clinical research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Works in both inpatient and outpatient clinical care areas.
  • May be required to travel to local area hospitals and physician offices.
  • Works in office environment.
  • Requires walking, sitting, operation of keyboard and computer.
  • Responsible to work in a safe manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business or Health Care Administration preferred.
  • Previous research experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Guidelines, basic scientific methods, biological principles, medical terminology, and regulatory requirements of the FDA and IRB preferred.
