Serves as the research assistant for research projects and initiatives throughout the assigned department.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with a strong record of academic achievement
Ability to work independently but know when to seek help
Sophisticated interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive information and to interact at all levels of the organization
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively when concerns arise
Proven written, research, analytical and oral communication skills
High degree of technical proficiency on Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed

Prior experience handling research responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Recruit and/or interview study subjects
Travel to different locations to collect data as needed
Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
Manage and reply to project-related correspondence
Provide flexible administrative support as needed
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
