About The Position

The Radiation Therapist, R.T.(T) will provide services at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings in the department. The Radiation Therapist, R.T.(T), will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiation Oncology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. Involves general guidance and direction by the department director, medical direction by the Radiation Oncologist and immediate supervision by the Radiation Oncology Manager. Requirements

  • Completion of an A.R.R.T. recognized education program that is accredited by the JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education for Radiologic Technology).
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist or Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

  • Completion of clinical rotations from an accredited radiation therapy program.
