About The Position
Galaxy Digital is hiring a Research Intern for its nine-week 2027 Summer Internship Program. The program takes place on-site at Galaxy’s New York City headquarters from June 7 through August 6, 2027. Interns gain practical, hands-on experience working with the Research team on real products and problems, alongside Galaxy employees. The program also includes professional development, social events, and networking opportunities with senior leaders. The Research Intern will assist business units with research work, produce reports on cryptocurrency networks and markets, help grow Galaxy’s distribution platforms, and support policy-advisory efforts in Washington. Interns will gain exposure to crypto technologies, markets, and investment vehicles. The position is paid at $55 per hour; interns are classified as non-exempt employees. Applicants must be undergraduate or master’s students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. Eligible master’s students must have fewer than two years of relevant full-time work experience. Students enrolled in PhD or JD programs are not eligible to apply.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and creative skills.
- Deep interest in and existing knowledge of cryptocurrency networks and markets.
- Undergraduate or master’s student graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Eligible master’s students must have fewer than two years of relevant, full-time work experience.
- Students enrolled in PhD or JD programs are not eligible to apply.
Nice To Haves
- Skills in one or more of the following areas: data analysis, financial analysis and modeling, markets and trading, software engineering, computer science, cryptography, network analysis, or cybersecurity research.
Responsibilities
- Assist business units with research work product.
- Learn how to produce and produce reports about cryptocurrency networks and markets.
- Support the growth of Galaxy’s distribution platforms, including its newsletter, podcasts, and Research Portal.
- Gain exposure to crypto technologies, markets, and investment vehicles.
- Support Galaxy Research’s efforts in Washington as policy advisors.
